Cllr Dale Heenan said, “This informal meeting aims to bring various Council departments to a place where local residents can talk direct to Council Officers about local issues and services. The idea is to make the event as accessible as possible for local residents to attend, and we hope it proves successful.

In addition I have asked organisations like Thames Water, the Environment Agency, the Highways Agency and Thamesdown Transport to attend. The Police have also been invited and we hope to have the local Community Safety team present too.

This meeting is focused on Core Services, so local residents can discuss a wide range of topics. Ideas could range from the local Library Service to Flooding prevention since 2007, Traffic near local Schools or the Eastern Development Area.

Please come along and visit each stand. If the event is successful we will hold more in the future.
